With the men's Keen Utility Flint II Sport, you get the latest in comfort and safety technologies. This athletic work style is thoughtfully constructed with weight-reducing materials and features that provide protection within a variety of work environments.
The Flint II Sport is an extension of the updated Flint II line. It shares asymmetrical toes covered with abrasion-resisting toe caps. This athletic style also shares a lightweight KEEN.reGEN midsole that absorbs impact, yet resists compression. And the Sport has a rubber outsole that is non-marking with a tread pattern that helps to disperse liquid underfoot. The outsole earns high marks with ASTM slip-testing, yet continues to provide the abrasion, oil, chemical and heat resistance you need on the job.
Unique to other styles in the Flint II line, this Sport style is metal-free. Meeting ASTM standards for impact and compression, the Flint II Sport has a carbon nanofiber safety toe. This nonmetallic safety toe material is strong, yet lighter in weight than traditional protective toe materials. It also gives the toe a pleasing profile. And this work shoe also meets ASTM standards for resisting electrical hazards. A sleek, lightweight synthetic upper in a forged iron/black colorway has reflective inserts, helping to improve visibility in low light conditions. This upper is non-mutilating, meaning it won't scratch surfaces, making these work shoes ideal to wear around sensitive equipment.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
