Part of the Fangs line by Genuine Grip, this women's black lace-up hi-top athletic shoe provides lightweight comfort and a host of protective features, making them appropriate for an indoor environment. Reaching 6 inches in height, the black upper is made of mesh and synthetics that is both breathable and lightweight. Metal-free construction provides piece of mind that these shoes won't mar surfaces and are security friendly. A carbon nano composite protective toe meets ASTM F2413 requirements for impact and compression; this shoe also is static-dissipative to SD100 and has puncture-resisting material underfoot that also meets ASTM standards. An oil- and slip-resisting Genuine Grip rubber outsole with geometric repeat tread pattern grips smooth floors. Inside the shoe an Aegis Microbe Shield controls odor, staining and deterioration. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.

Built with an outsole design and materials that help provide slip-resistance and traction on various surfaces. -
