The Thorogood Internal Metatarsal Guard Work Boot is a high-performance, steel toe safety boot that has a met guard and meets three ASTM standards. These boots are union made!

This work boot is part of your safety equipment. It meets ASTM F2413 for metatarsal guard, protective toe and electrical hazard.

The internal metatarsal guard protects the top of your toes against impact and compression if a heavy object were to drop on your foot. A steel toe provides you with the toe protection you need encompassing the end of your feet. With the combination of these two types of safety, you can focus on construction work, machine shop work or whatever your job may be.

This footwear also has a dual-density polyurethane outsole that further stands up to tough work conditions. It is oil-resistant, slip-resistant, abrasion-resistant and chemical-resistant. Go ahead and walk in it. These boots can take it.

Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.

Metatarsal Guard

Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
